Exhibition Antoine de Vinck
April 14 to May 26, 2024
Discover Kraainem paid tribute to the ceramist-sculptor Antoine de Vinck, who lived and worked in Kraainem for thirty years (from 1955 to 1984). He enjoyed national and international fame during his lifetime. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth (April 16, 1924), Discover Kraainem organized an exhibition from April 14 to May 26, 2024, presenting a selection of representative works of art at the Château Jourdain. The Municipality of Kraainem was the co-organizer of this exhibition.
We borrow works from several museums and also from private collections in Belgium and France. Several dozen works of art, including thirty large pieces, will be on display, as well as preparatory drawings, photographic material and smaller ceramics by Alice, Antoine's wife.
